At my school, the AB and BC calculus courses are not comparable. Students dropped to AB from BC (where they had approx. 60s) to getting 95+s. However, the gap is widened because the teachers in AB will give pointers during the test and in BC the teachers give nothing. My BC class dropped from 25 at the start of the year to 13 by the end.
