Loosen the two mtg bolts and "recenter" the adjust screws to midway as best you can. Then tighten the mtg bolts to only 5 in-lbs. Insert a 9mm laser bore sight then adjust the RZ to put it on top of the laser dot from the bore sight until you only see one dot.

Thankfully the battery life is good, and when paired with the MOTAC technology, it should last a few years on a single battery.
